New Catalog!

In the post “Our Summer Vacation,” we described our biggest project this summer- a brand new library catalog. As the first day of classes quickly approaches, we are happy to write that the new catalog is finally available!

This new catalog, created by The Library Company, offers many more features than our previous catalog–  features we think you will love!

  • Integrated searching of subscription databases, like EBSCOHost.
  • User reviews.
  • Item mapping, which shows the item location on a map of Warner Library.
  • Easily place items on hold.
  • Personal user accounts that allow you to renew items and create/maintain lists of library items.
  • One catalog combining all of Eastern University’s libraries- Warner Library, A.K. de Blois Library, Curriculum Lab, and the Philadelphia (Falls Center) Library. Within the next couple of months, Esperanza College’s library will also be included in this new catalog.

Try our new catalog today! You can visit it by clicking here. Below are a few screen shots of the new interface.

After you’ve finished exploring the new catalog, tell us what you think! Please leave a comment below. We would love to hear from you.
